Saffron couscous with chicken and vegetables



  • 200g couscous
  • 1 chicken breast
  • 1 zucchini
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 onion
  • (About 10 sprays) Italian Saffron Infused Turci
  • 4 Sprays of Italian Garlic Cold Pressed Turci
  • 1 cup vegetable broth
  • 10 Sprays of Italian Oregano Cold Pressed Turci
  • Italian Chili Cold Pressed Turci (optional)
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • salt and pepper


Cut the chicken breast into strips and sprinkle it with the Italian Oregano Cold Pressed Turci.
Slice the zucchini and the tomatoes.
Chop the onion.
Heat a pan over medium-high heat. and fry the onion and the Italian Garlic Cold Pressed Turci for a few minutes. Add chicken, then the zucchini, tomatoes, a few (optional) sprays of Italian Chili Cold Pressed Turci, pepper, vegetable broth (pre heated with water). Cover and let cook for a 10-15 minutes over medium heat.
Meanwhile, put the couscous in a bowl with a tablespoon of olive oil and a pinch of salt.
Cover with boiling water, stir well with a fork and let rest for 5 minutes so the flour absorbs all the water. Stir again with a fork. If necessary, add more oil.
Serve with the chicken and season with the saffron Italian Saffron Infused Turci.
